#hawkeye and kate’s relationship is so important#yes they are equals#but it’s fun to play around with the idea of a protective clint#he won’t be protective in the battlefield#because he knows kate is more than capable#he won’t be protective in day to day life either#at least not as much#partly because he knows he comes from no moral high ground#but consider daddy clint#his daddy senses would be tingling#and he would go full dad towards kate#because she’s young and impulsive and should not be allowed on dates until she’s fifty#natasha would find it laughable but she wouldn’t discourage him#it’s fun when kate tells her things that clint doesn’t know about#especially if those things have the potential of driving daddy clint crazy#also clint and natasha’s kids would love kate#she wouldn’t be auntie katie#she would be older sister katie who they wished would live with them forever and ever (via marvelshuffle)
